We are attorneys who chose to work on the other side of the table. Before we began recruiting, we experienced the legal market from the inside — and that background defines how we work. We understand the day-to-day reality of an in-house legal department, the dynamics of a law firm, and what separates a capable résumé from a professional who truly delivers.
We have worked together in legal recruitment across Brazil and Latin America since 2010, when we were at Laurence Simons, and since 2016 as partners leading the operation in the region. BPL — Best People in Law — grew out of that journey: the same team, the same expertise, now under our own brand.
We are headhunters specializing in the selection of attorneys, legal executives and compliance professionals for law firms and in-house legal departments across Latin America. We conduct searches in Portuguese, English and Spanish, and we understand that recruiting a partner for a law firm requires a different perspective from advising a General Counsel on building an in-house team.
